On September 14, 2023, sponsored by China Construction Metal Structure Association and hosted by Broad Valve Group, the kick-off meeting and the first working meeting of the group standard preparation of "Pipeline Self-operated Control Valve" and "Two-way Sealing Roof Ball Valve" were held in Broad Valve Group. Experts from Beijing, Shanghai, Inner Mongolia, Shandong, Hebei, Hefei, Hubei, Zhejiang and other provinces and cities, representatives of valve enterprises and leaders of relevant departments of the local government more than 30 people attended the meeting.
The kick-off meeting was presided over by Qin Kang, director of the standard management center of China Construction Metal Structure Association. Xu Junling, deputy director of Xingtai Market Supervision and Administration Bureau, and Wang Xingguo, deputy head of Longyao County, attended the meeting and delivered enthusiastic speeches. Yan Guoan, general manager of Yuanda Valve Group, delivered a speech on behalf of the company, welcoming all leaders, experts and valve colleagues to Yuanda Valve Group.
On behalf of China Construction Metal Structure Association, the moderator read out the bid letter [2023] No. 103 of China Construction Gold Association-the letter on approval of the establishment of the group standard "Two-way Sealed Rotation Ball Valve" and the bid letter [2023] No. 106 of China Construction Gold Association-the letter on approval of the establishment of the group standard "Pipeline Self-operated Control Valve", announcing that the establishment of the two group standards was officially started, it also requires the standard preparation team to carry out the preparation work in strict accordance with the requirements of the "Group Standard Management Measures" and the project approval documents, and to complete the preparation of the two standards with high quality according to the plan.
Liang Yuefeng, deputy secretary-general of the China Construction Metal Structure Association, delivered a special speech on the preparation of group standards. He gave a detailed interpretation of the work flow, specific requirements and common problems of the preparation of group standards, and was highly praised by the participating experts and the preparation team.
Qin Yongxin, deputy secretary-general of China Construction Metal Structure Association, and Liu Jie co-chaired the first working meeting of "Pipeline Self-operated Control Valve" and "Two-way Sealed Rotor Ball Valve. Shao Jiannong, a senior engineer of Yuanda Valve Group, the leading unit of standard compilation, reported the preparation of "Pipeline Self-operated Control Valve" and "Two-way Sealing Rotation Ball Valve" to the experts attending the meeting on behalf of the compilation group; the experts and the staff of the preparation team had a heated discussion on the relevant issues in the working draft of the "Outline of Pipeline Self-operated Control Valve" and "Outline of Two-way Sealed Rotor Ball Valve" and "Pipeline Self-operated Control Valve" and "Two-way Sealed Rotor Ball Valve". And reached a consensus on the main issues, and made further research plans and discussion work arrangements for the issues that did not reach an agreement.
The experts and representatives of the preparation unit also visited the production workshop, valve dynamic performance laboratory and quality testing center of Broad Valve Group.
